Company registration in Georgia

LLC or individual entrepreneur registration, in person or remotely by power of attorney.

We advise on the optimal legal form for your activity, prepare the charter and founding documents, coordinate apostille and translation if you are abroad, file with the Public Registry and set up your tax portal access — all in one to five working days.

Registering a company in Georgia: what expats need to know

The LLC is the standard form for foreign founders: liability limited to the company, no minimum capital, 100% foreign ownership permitted. Registration with the National Agency of Public Registry costs 200 GEL for one working day, or 400 GEL for same-day registration. An extract costs 20 GEL.

Individual entrepreneurs benefit from the 1% small business tax on turnover up to 500,000 GEL, provided the activity is eligible. Both forms can be registered fully by power of attorney without visiting Georgia. After registration, the company receives access to the Revenue Service portal and must register for VAT once taxable turnover exceeds 100,000 GEL.

Can I register without visiting Georgia?

Yes. Both an LLC and an individual entrepreneur can be registered fully by power of attorney, without travelling.

Is there a minimum share capital?

No. Georgian law sets no minimum capital for an LLC.
